This workshop equips educators to integrate computer science into science and engineering classes using micro:bits. Participants will explore hands-on coding and engineering activities that connect real-world phenomena with core CS concepts like algorithms, variables, loops, conditionals, and functions. They’ll examine micro:bit hardware and sensors, and learn to recreate everyday devices—such as step counters, noise monitors, and thermostats. Educators will leave with the tools and inspiration to bring computational thinking into their classrooms. Presented by: Darren Alcala and Lindsay Munoz
