Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy

Curriculum: Research-based, project-driven robotics, AI, and computer science curricula integrating coding, engineering design, and problem-solving.

  • Curriculum Features: Includes assessments, rubrics, teacher resources, badges, student artifact uploads, virtual robot simulation, and digital games.

Grades: 2-12

PD: 30–40 hours, offered in-person or online; hybrid of direct instruction and independent study. Teachers learn research-based CS pedagogy, robotics programming, and troubleshooting.

Cost: Free curriculum. PD typically $200–$1,300 depending on course length and delivery. Scholarships available.
