CSTA hosts two annual virtual summits, held in the fall and spring. The fall summit focuses on pedagogy, while the spring Equity in Action Summit is developed by the CSTA Equity Fellowship. All recordings are made available to CSTA+ members following the event in the Resources Library.

Computing affects many aspects of the world in both positive and negative ways and local and global levels. At the Impacts of Computing Summit, teachers will explore ways for individuals and communities to influence computing through their behaviors, cultural and social interactions, and in turn, new cultural practices. The summit is tailored for teachers who teach any subject in grades K-12 or are already a computer science teacher.

The CSTA Equity in Action Summit is a one-day virtual event bringing together PreK-12 CS teachers for a call to action to transform our approach to providing equitable CS education rooted in justice. Engage in strategies to equip yourself with resources on representation, accessibility, and culturally sustaining pedagogies. Develop an action plan to increase CS education access to all students and empower them to use CS in a just way.
