As U.S. classrooms grow more linguistically diverse, engaging multilingual learners in computer science is increasingly important. This poster shares findings from an action research study that used gamification in a high school cybersecurity pathway to boost engagement and motivation. The study explored how gamified instruction impacts multilingual learners’ certification exam scores and their willingness to participate vocally in class.
