Aligned Curricula
Supporting High-Quality CS Instruction
High-quality computer science instruction is built on the expertise, creativity, and professional judgment of teachers. Some CS educators design their own curriculum from the ground up. Others adopt published curricular resources and tailor them to their students and context. Many do both and combine original materials with adopted resources to build coherent learning experiences for their students.
Regardless of approach, standards-aligned curricular materials play an important role. Having confidence that materials genuinely address the expectations of rigorous CS standards saves time, strengthens instruction, and supports the development of strong, vertically aligned CS programs.
CSTA’s CS Curriculum Directory is a searchable, public resource where educators can find PK–12 computer science curricula that have been independently reviewed for alignment to the 2026 CSTA PK–12 Standards. Whether you’re looking for a comprehensive curriculum to adopt, a resource to supplement what you’ve built, or a reference point for your own curriculum design, the directory is here to support your work.
The full, interactive CS Curriculum Directory is coming this fall. In the meantime, explore results from early Curriculum Alignment Reviews below.

For Curriculum Providers
CSTA’s Curriculum Alignment Review offers curriculum providers an independent, rigorous validation of how their materials align to the 2026 CSTA PK-12 Standards. Earning a Seal of Alignment and a place in the CSTA CS Curriculum Directory signals to educators that your curriculum has been reviewed by experts and the level of alignment to the 2026 CSTA PK-12 Standards has been validated. It also enables the featuring of standard-specific resources in the interactive web display.
CSTA will launch the new Curriculum Alignment Review process in fall 2026. Please check back here for more information soon. Contact partners@csteachers.org with other questions or to be notified when the process is ready.
