Growing Interest, Enrollment, and Equitable Access in High School CS: Planning for Recruitment

High schools often struggle to increase student interest and enrollment in CS. In this session, a teacher shares how her school launched a new AP CSP course. Participants will learn a protocol to assess current CS enrollment, identify underrepresented groups (such as English-language learners, girls, Black, and Latinx students), and develop strategies to boost participation.
