CSTA is now accepting nominations to join its Board of Directors for the July 2020-2022 term. Candidates must have a strong record of contributions to K-12 computer science education and have served in leadership roles in education or nonprofit communities. This is a great opportunity for interested CSTA+ members to provide meaningful contributions to CSTA and help oversee its long-term health. 
We’re looking for candidates for the following open positions. 
  • K-8 Representative: A classroom teacher who is currently teaching or promoting computer science at the pre-high-school level.
  • 9-12 Representative: A classroom teacher who is currently teaching computer science at the high school level.
  • State Department of Education Representative: An educator or administrator who reports to a state department of education and oversees, in some capacity, computer science educator.
  • International Teacher Representative: An international (outside the United States) classroom teacher who is currently teaching or promoting computer science at the pre-collegiate level.
  • College/University Representative: A faculty member from a college of university computing department (which may include community colleges).
  • At-Large Representative: An educator with responsibilities for K-12 computer science education.
